David Beccaria
SVP of Appraisal and Legal Support

David began his career in real estate in 1978 in sales working for his father at Wellington Realtors.

David has been a licensed California Real Estate Broker since 1979. David also has been a real estate appraiser since 1989. David has served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Cruz Association of Realtors in 1985; David was selected California Appraiser of the Year for NAIFA in 2002. David has served as President, Vice President and Education Coordinator for the Central California Chapter of NAIFA over the past 20 years.

David graduated from Santa Clara University in 1977 with an undergraduate degree in Finance, and from Golden Gate University in 1981 with an MBA in Real Estate.

David has a broad background in Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Sales and Property Management. His experience includes appraising single-family residences, manufactured homes, lots, acreage, condominiums, industrial and commercial property.

Other appraisal experience includes review, relocation and bank real estate owned (foreclosures) assignments. He is also FHA approved. He has completed or supervised the completion of more than 7500 appraisal reports since 1989.

His appraisal work has been accepted in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey County Superior Court. He has completed numerous Partial Interest Valuations, he has written well documented appraisal reports for assessment appeals, casualty loss, litigation support, estate, gift and partnership dissolution.

Geographic Areas of Service: He has completed narrative appraisal reports in Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Monterey, Mendocino, Napa, San Benito, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma Counties. He has also handled real estate sales transactions in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Santa Clara, and San Benito Counties.

Court Appointments:  He has been selected for assignment by Santa Cruz County Superior Court on two occasions.  Once as a Referee for a partition action and the other as a Receiver for a distressed property.

Referee:  He was appointed as a “Referee” for a partition action in Santa Cruz County Superior Court

– Case No. CV 148151 and during the course of his engagement he supervised the liquidation of in excess of 20 properties.  He was discharged in August of 2013 after successful completion of the assignment. 

Receiver:  He was appointed as a “Receiver” in equity by Santa Cruz County Superior Court

– Case No. 15 CV00448.  He was officially discharged from the appointment in January of 2017 after successful completion of the assignment.
